9Bar — named for the pressure that makes espresso sing. A Financial District speciality bar on ISB Road, built for exact proportions and quiet focus.

In a lane off ISB Road, Zuhaib and the baristas work at nine bars — the textbook pressure for a balanced extraction. Regulars have a script: Spanish latte or flat white, then a pourover from an estate they've memorised.

The menu runs like a lab sheet: classics from espresso (₹180) to Vietnamese latte (₹290), iced experiments like passion-fruit earl-grey espresso and protein iced latte, cremes, matcha & hojicha, eight cold brews including popcorn and tiramisu, pourovers from Melkodige, Salawara and Attikan with tasting notes, plus salads, sando, folds, mains, all-day breakfast and a Hello Summer mango series. In 2026 the bar added what The Siasat Daily called “the purple revolution”: an entire Ube Series — Latte, Coconut, Cloud and Honeycomb.

“Crème brûlée latte was okayish at best. Cold chocolate tasted chalky and was so bad we couldn’t take more than 2 sips. Lemonade was also not decent. The only saving grace was the butter chicken nachos.”
